Polish Chamber of Shoe and Leather Industry in Lodz is a leading trade association representing Polish footwear and leather industry since 1989.
The Chamber supports its members by active cooperation with public and local government administration as well as with national and international trade organizations interested in the development of leather industry. The main aim of our organization is the support and protection of Polish footwear and leather industry and its effective promotion in Poland and on the international markets. Our associate companies represent: Polish leather industry, footwear manufacturers, leather goods and clothing producers, tanneries, suppliers of chemicals, accessories, machines etc.

Leather Industry Institute (IPS) – Poland

Leather Industry Institute was one the first laboratory in Poland which was able to obtain accreditation authorized by Polish Centre for Accreditations. We are an experienced team in develop and use new researches and testing methods for many consumers products. The Institute of Leather Industry is an organisation working with Polish footwear SME industry and providing them full service based on: innovative technology, implementation new production techniques, laboratory skills together with testing materials and ready-made footwear according ISO and EN standards in Accredited Laboratory. NOTIFIED BODY No 1439 in accordance with Personal Protection Equipment Directive 89/686/EEC.

Lodzkie Region – Poland

Marshal’s Office of the Lodzkie Region is an organizational unit carrying out the tasks of the region. Department of Entrepreneurship is an internal organizational unit. The tasks of the Department include: issues related to the diagnosis of the Region’s economy, entrepreneurship and development trends, supporting the development of entrepreneurship, supporting pro-innovation actions, promotion of investment offer and export companies from the Region, cooperation with businesses, associations, business environment institutions, universities, research centers, units of local government authorities and other partners in Poland and abroad.

International Shoe Competence Center – Germany

The International Shoe Competence Center Pirmasens or ISC Germany for short is a training and research center for the international leather and footwear industry, its suppliers, and for trade.
Our range of services comprises professional training, further education, R&D as well as consulting, primarily in the areas of quality, product and process improvement. We are specialised in conceiving customized trainings focusing on the technical aspects of industrial shoe production aiming to increase quality and efficiency, and we impart product competence for purchasing and sales staff.

Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal CTCP – Portugal

CTCP is a non-profit private organization, founded in 1986, having over 450 private companies as members. It employs 46 people including technicians, engineers and senior specialists. CTCP’s purpose is to support all stages of the footwear chain including: Quality Control; Consultancy; Training; Marketing; Organization and Methods, R&D, Health & Safety, Environment, Sustainability, Business Intelligence. CTCP has a wide experience in promoting, collaborating and coordinating R&D and training/employment projects, at national and European level.
CTCP are ideally placed to represent the employers of the Portuguese footwear industry with strong links to the employers, offering all kind of support including continued professional training through work based learning. CTCP has competences in all the domains of professional training, since the diagnosis of training needs, creation of courses and pedagogical material, organizing/develop/promoting courses, evaluation. It’s certified by the Portuguese government as Training Organisation, promoting more than 4500 training hours per year.

The European Confederation of the Footwear Industry (CEC) – Belgium

CEC was created more than 30 years ago. It gathers the footwear national associations and federations of the European Union (EU28). CEC is THE VOICE of the European footwear industry in Brussels vis-à-vis European Institutions, other international organizations, public authorities and other sectoral associations. Through the national associations and federations, CEC includes activities and stakeholders of the whole supply chain: from the collection of materials and components to the more common objective of recycling; from the manufacturers and retailers to the education and technologic centres.
